REVOLUTION Academy: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and MMA in Arkansas

Abby Ziemer Malone

Abby Ziemer Malone got started in Martial Arts at the age of 7 when she began taking classes after her brother had started 6 months earlier as a birthday present. Abby thought it looked fun and wanted to try it out for herself, and that moment began the journey of a lifetime. Twenty years later, Abby has become an extremely experienced and well versed Martial Artist. She has twenty years of training in multiple disciplines and competition experience ranging from small local tournaments to World Championships. "Martial Arts has allowed me to travel the world and see places such as Canada, Scotland and Italy as well as many locations across the United States".

Abby continues to train several hours a day in Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as teach classes at the academy. She also continues to compete alongside her students to further her own knowledge and represent the academy in a positive light. "Martial Arts has always been fun for me. It has allowed me to meet new friends, travel the world, and has allowed me to touch many of my student's lives. I truly have a passion for learning Martial Arts, and I hope that passion is reflected in my teaching. I once had a teacher who said to me "It's not about the product it's about the process." I believe that Martial Arts is not about becoming a black belt, a world champion or a professional. Instead it is about what you learn on your journey there, and what you do with what you have learned.
